...has three objectives:

Education

CVCTC holds a series of obedience and rally classes each year. The classes make the dogs better citizens and the owners more informed. The regular Beginner’s class and the Puppy Kindergarten class have graduated hundreds of dogs over the years. CVCTC dogs and owners are involved in the hospital “Delta Dog” program and the library “Read to a Dog” program. In the past, members have helped staff a booth at the Yavapai County Fair, given demonstrations at schools, sponsored Canine Good Citizens Tests, and provided other information throughout the community. 

Shelter Support CVCTC donates $20.00 towards the spay or neuter of every dog adopted from the Chino Valley Animal Control. CVCTC members also provide foster homes and breed rescue support. CVCTC members participate in pet adoption days and public displays of adoptable dogs. CVCTC features adoptable shelter dogs and foster dogs on our web site.   Provide Fun Activities We participate in and sponsor Obedience Matches, Parades, Flyball, Canine Good Citizen Test, Rally Obedience, and many more activities.
